9 April 2026Three ransomware groups were responsible for nearly half of all ransomware attacks in the last month, as reported by cybersecurity analysts at Check Point.
Among the top three groups, Qilin accounted for 20% of attacks, followed by Akira at 12% and Dragonforce at 8%.
The attacks targeted organizations in various sectors, with the US being the most affected, representing 52% of victims.
