nationals, Kejia Wang and Zhenxing Wang, have been sentenced to prison for assisting North Korean IT workers in posing as U.S.
residents to get hired by over 100 companies, generating over $5 million for the North Korean government.
They created fake companies and financial accounts to facilitate the scheme.
Zhenxing Wang hosted equipment for North Korean workers in the U.S.
Nine other defendants are still at large.
The Department of Justice has issued a reward for information on them.
The FBI has been warning about North Korean cyber threats since 2023.
Ukrainian national, Oleksandr Didenko, was sentenced to five years for aiding in providing stolen identities for North Korean workers.
