EOODMicrosoft's Latest Updates: Resolving Windows Server Issues and Boosting Security
20 April 2026Microsoft has released emergency out-of-band updates to fix issues affecting Windows Server systems after the April 2026 security updates.

To address these, emergency updates were released for various Windows Server versions.
The Windows Server 2025 update (KB5091157) resolves both issues, while updates for other versions only fix the restart problem.
A BitLocker issue on some Windows Server 2025 devices was also acknowledged.

Earlier this year, emergency updates were released for Bluetooth visibility, RRAS security vulnerabilities, broken Microsoft account sign-ins, and update installation issues.
