28 April 2026Microsoft recently faced a widespread outage affecting Outlook.com users globally, causing sign-in issues and "too many requests" errors.
After roughly 10 hours, the issue was resolved, but iPhone users were asked to re-enter their credentials to access their accounts via the default Mail app.
Microsoft didn't disclose the root cause or the extent of the impact.
This incident follows previous outages in March and April, including problems with Exchange Online, Microsoft Copilot, and Classic Outlook.
Microsoft is also investigating issues like disappearing mouse pointers and server connection errors in Classic Outlook.
