Hacked: Valve Steam Customers in Europe Exposed in CEVA Logistics Data Breach

10 August 2026

Valve, a video game publisher and digital distribution platform, has informed its European customers that their data was compromised by hackers who targeted its shipping partner, CEVA Logistics.
The attack occurred between July 29 and August 1, allowing the hackers to access personal information needed for shipping Steam hardware orders.
The stolen data includes names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and order details.
However, sensitive information like payment details and passwords were not affected.
Valve warned customers about potential phishing attempts using the stolen information and reassured them that no action is needed on their Steam accounts.
CEVA Logistics is investigating the breach, and authorities in affected countries have been notified.
Valve's disclosure follows a similar cyberattack on CEVA Logistics' European warehouses.
